A sociology professor of mine once told me to look at everyone using my “Buddha eyes” – not just to find the good in each person, but to find the purpose of your encounter with them. That even negative experiences have a purpose. I love using my “Buddha eyes” when shopping at Goodwill. When you look past the piece of furniture as is, and see the potential of what it could be, it truly inspiring! And of course, Pinterest has no shortage of helping to spur that creative inspiration!

Here are a few examples of ways to repurpose furniture to fit your needs. We’d love to hear your great repurpose stories!

Keep on creating!
