I was only half kidding a few posts back when I said that Pinterest makes me feel like a failure. I have a healthy love/hate relationship with Pinterest. I love love love the creativity and inspiration I find with every search. Yet, I sometimes feel like I’m not worthy to hold a candle to the rest of the Pinterexperts. I think I’m a crafty person and I know I’m a thrifty person, but there are times when I doubt my ability. The perfectionist in me shouts out – it needs to be better! Read the rest of this entry ?

Ahh… the mason jar. A staple of the South. There is never a shortage of this jar at Goodwill and it’s not just for the Redneck’s wine or Aunt May’s jelly. I was planning on redecorating my girls’ bedroom dresser this past weekend, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. I’m sure Brit will go over the highs and lows of Oscar fashion with you tomorrow, so I’ll move onto utilizing Goodwill for the next holiday which is one of my favorites – St. Patrick’s Day! Since my Irish eyes are always smiling, I especially like it when everone breaks out their Irish heritage, dons green apparel and noshes on corned beef and cabbage while Read the rest of this entry ?
LOVE is in the air! Okay, well, physically it’s on the bookshelf, but these little Valentine’s Day frames definitely make my heart smile! And they were oh-so-simple to make (and free using supplies I already had – Bonus!)!
Almost everytime I go shopping at Goodwill, I grab a frame (or two) to add to my stash, and those purchases came in handy with this project! I was inspired to add a some Valentine’s Day cheer to my home on a recent trip to Target – their Read the rest of this entry ?

I’m sure many of you out there are still working your way through the dark and cold months of winter. What do you do to lift your spirits as the temperature drops?
Like any other mid-twenties female, my go to when I want a quick pick me up is of course….Retail Therapy. And if you happen to be one of the many looking for a splurge here’s a great wintertime list:
